From 8 to 10 March 2022, was held the kickoff meeting of the ERASMUS+ project DO IT YOURSELF, project 2021-1-FI01-KA220-SCH-000034324.
The three partners from Portugal: The Parents Association of Brejoeira School, Eagle Intuition and TV Almada, were the hosts.
All the partners embraced this project with the aim of enriching the sharing of experiences in order to improve good educational practices. This collaboration was done in partnership with five European countries: Portugal, Finland, Slovenia, Romania and Italy, with common concerns, leading to a singular theme DO IT YOURSELF – A NEW APPROACH TO IMPLEMENT DIGITAL. Thus, in an increasingly digital age, the use of new information and communication technologies in the school context is a tool that promotes motivation and facilitates learning.
During this meeting the following points were addressed:

- Project Logo;
- Dissemination – Project brochure;
- Project website;
- Social Media;
- Dissemination – Newsletters;
- Exploitation and Sustainability Strategy & IPR Agreement;

- IO2 Book DO IT YOURSELF and Scientific Articles;
- IO3 MOOC DO IT YOUR SELF;
- Future Steps in the project.
During the visit to Escola Básica da Brejoeira, was presented with the way how the Portuguese teachers work in the classroom with the technologies. There was the opportunity to visit several classrooms of the 1st cycle, where 315 students and 100 students from the pre-school, have classes daily.
There was also a special welcome visit host by the President of local municipality of Azeitão, Sónia Paulo.
During this first meeting, there was also an opportunity to get to know Portugal better, a country rich in culture, with stories and natural beauty. Taking advantage of this visit, we got to know the gastronomy and culture of our region of Azeitão.
